This is Pepper. He was our family dog for 10 and a half years. He was a little 4.5 pound teacup poodle. What a sweet little guy. He got sick back in May and despite the best efforts of Dr. Steve Tharp, DMV, we lost our little guy on Sunday. He was a great dog an brought our family so much joy and good memories. And I am really glad we took time to take portraits of him and with him throughout his life! Camping and four wheeling wont be the same without you, Pepper!

A Perfect wedding day.
Another wonderful wedding is completed! Kelsey and Travis are perfect for each other. They also had a near perfect wedding. They chose a great venue, the wonderful Red Reflet Ranch in Ten Sleep, WY. They had the best flower lady around, Miss Katherine Tommerup of Flower Exchange in Worland, WY. AND my favorite cake decorators/bakers, the fabulous Detales Cakes out of Clark, WY!
When planning your wedding day, making wise choices on your vendors is key. Choose people you trust and know do an excellent job. Then let them do the job you hired them to do! Kelsey and Travis were so kind to let me do my job. They listened to all the suggestions, took time to do their pictures before the ceremony (ignoring archaic traditions) and got to enjoy the party they planned when the ceremony was over! We had such a beautiful and fairly relaxed day. It was a joy to work with them and all of the other vendors they put in place to make their day so special!

One day we lived, we laughed, we loved. . .
One day we lived, we laughed, we loved. . .
One day last summer, the most passionately, crazy in love couple came to me for family portraits. We planned a great fall family session, in a setting that had great sentimental value to them. . . it was where they got married. Curtis and Erica were madly in love with each other, with their children and with their life together. Please pray for Erica and their three beautiful children as they go through the process of losing this wonderful man.
In this life, we are not guaranteed even one second. Hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. Dance, laugh, love. . . live. This life is fragile and fleeting. I know if I am gone tomorrow, I have lived well, and I will be with my Savior. But, with Curtis as an example, I will strive to live a fuller, more joyful life, until God sees fit to take me home. And when He does call me home, I only hope that my time here on earth taught my children about their heavenly Father, love, generosity, kindness to others, compassion and joy.
